Offschedule: "a rebellious fashion event... according to some"

 

Op zaterdag 20 januari, tijdens het openingsweekend van de Fashion Week, nam Offschedule, editie 1, je mee in de wereld van de laatste draagbare designer fashion in de Koepelkerk van het Renaissance Hotel Amsterdam. 8 visagisten van Dik Peeters Haar & Make-up assisteerden hier Tommy Hagen voor haarstyling en Yvonne Nussdorfer voor visagie.

 

Offschedule is een combinatie van modeshows en een feest. Modeshows van een nieuwe generatie Nederlandse en Belgische designers die regelmatig geïnspireerd zijn door wat er op straat gebeurt en zich niet laten belemmeren door de zogenaamde haute couture regels. HTNK, D'Estilo en Valeria Siniouchkina (Brussel), dragen bij deze pilot editie ieder een aantal verscheidene designers voor. De avond ging verder met een feest waar The Immaculate Conceptualists (onder meer Electronation, F-Industry, RGB Festival en Glamtech) voor tekende. Een spannende en progressieve dj line up is daarmee gegarandeerd. Offschedule wordt gedragen door een veelheid aan partijen die hun sporen in de mode ruimschoots verdiend hebben: HTNK, Tommy'z Toko, Angelique Hoorn, Ullamodels, Models at Work, TRCP, etcetera. Muziek, creativiteit en mode treffen elkaar bij Offschedule in een internationale setting. Geen mooiere start van het jaar voor Amsterdam om zich zo nog meer te profileren als Fashion Capital.

 

Concept OFF-SCHEDULE is a rebellious fashion event that differs from the current main stream events. It provides an accessible platform for fashionista's, pioneers and opinion leaders of different subculture movements. OFF-SCHEDULE is linked with fresh current hypes, combined with the Dutch talents of tomorrow; the here and now connected with the next generation. OFF-SCHEDULE is a brand-new Dutch statement expressing the highly developed street fashion lifestyle in music, art and fashion. This is realized in an event that takes place on Saturday the 20th of January. This event forms altogether a society / community for the crme de la crme of contemporary fashion. A selection of the most interesting designers is presented in a creative and musical environment. Guests are able to see, experience and create fashion. Topnotch DJ's, original fashion shows and a creative DIY studio are wrapped inside a club night. This new perspective allows visitors and artists to form a temporary pact during this fashion event. This accessible and idealistic platform changes the current way of working during the Dutch Fashion week. Creative minds are given chance to show their work without having to pay a sum of money. And the new generation of street fashionistas are given chance to express themselves in a fitting environment.
